The new product is called Iron Man Edition and was shown to the public at Comic-Con 2018 in San Diego. Production of the car will begin in December of this year. Sales of the car will start next year. The new product will be released in a limited edition.

The Kona Iron Man Edition received new front optics with unusual daytime running lights that resemble the Iron Man mask. The car is also equipped with a special V-shaped stamping on the hood, emblems in the form of the Iron Man mask on the front fenders, Stark Industries stickers on the lower nose and rear doors, as well as 18-inch wheels with the Iron Man image on the hubcaps.

The car features Iron Man engraving on the rear pillars and a dark chrome false radiator grille. The crossover body is painted in matte gray Iron Man.

Inside, the instrument panel and selector handle have Tony Stark's signature. The head-up display and center console have visual styling in the Iron Man style, and new seats are also installed.

Hyundai also plans to develop a sporty modification of the compact crossover Kona. If the project gets the green light, the new product will get the N suffix in its name. Most likely, the car's premiere will take place no earlier than 2020.
