The concept, designed for a single driver and known under the code name Aesthetics Progressive Luxury, references the legendary Mercedes racing cars of the 1930s, including the W125 model. It was on such a car in 1938 that Rudolf Caracciola, a driver from Germany, achieved a record land speed, racing along the route between Frankfurt and Darmstadt at 427.9 km/h.

According to the design, the Aesthetics Progressive Luxury will receive a next-generation electric powertrain, surpassing in characteristics the one used on the SLS E-Cell supercar. The latter was equipped with four electric motors with a total output of 750 hp and battery packs with a capacity of 60 kilowatt-hours.
