According to preliminary data, the price of the new model will start from 80 thousand dollars. The car will be produced at a plant in Stuttgart.
The production version will be offered in at least three trim levels. The base, mid-range, and flagship versions will get powertrains with 402, 536, and 670 horsepower, respectively. The front electric motor will produce 215 hp in all cases, while the rear unit's power will be either 322 or 429 hp depending on the version. The motors will work in conjunction with a two-speed gearbox. Additionally, the car will be equipped with an electronic differential with a lock on the rear axle.
The top modification of the electric car will be able to accelerate to 100 km/h in less than three seconds, and its top speed will be electronically limited to 250 km/h. The range on a single charge will be about 500 kilometers. The battery charge can be restored to 80% in 20 minutes.
Judging by numerous spy shots, the car's appearance will hardly change compared to the concept of the same name shown in 2015 in Frankfurt. The main difference is traditional rear doors, which will replace the rear-hinged doors of the show car that opened against the direction of travel. In addition, the car, like the Jaguar I-Pace electric crossover, will have a small additional trunk under the hood.
