As Ian noted, the fate of the XJ sedan was in question, but ultimately the management decided to approve the work on creating a new generation of the model, which should receive "unique" technical solutions. At the same time, the premiere of the new flagship is expected no earlier than 2019.
The current generation of the Jaguar XJ was introduced in 2009 and has since undergone a number of updates. Last year, the model received the top modification XJR575 with increased power.
