Alfa Romeo's technical director Roberto Fedeli told the British press about the company's plans.

The new crossover of the Italian brand, according to the executive, will have larger dimensions than the Stelvio model and will take the place of the flagship in the manufacturer's lineup. Fedeli noted that the main rivals of this SUV will be the Audi Q7, BMW X5, Mercedes-Benz GLE, and Volvo XC90.

The powertrain of the flagship new product will be hybrid, with an output of about 400 horsepower. The presentation of the car is scheduled for 2020.
