Infiniti has begun development of its first production electric vehicle, which will debut in 2019.
Nissan's creative director Alfonso Albaisa (pictured) shared this information with British journalists. As the top manager reported, a concept version of the future electric car will be shown this coming winter at the Detroit auto show.
The new model will be built on a completely new platform and equipped with its own powertrain, which will have nothing in common with the Nissan Leaf electric car. Additional details will become known closer to the January premiere.
