The GAZ Group is considering the possibility of bringing back a model under the name "Volga", but in a completely different "format".
Chairman of the Board of Directors Siegfried Wolf said that the Volga could return to the market as a mid-size commercial van, close in class to the Volkswagen Caddy.
The new model will be positioned a step below the Gazelle, but Wolf has not yet disclosed details about possible changes to the Volga's design.
The decision to launch the project into production has not yet been approved.
