In Odesa on AUTO.RIA a 1974 GAZ-24 "Volga" has been listed for sale with a claimed original mileage of only 18,000 km. For the 52-year-old sedan with a 2.4-liter gasoline engine and manual transmission, they are asking $49,999, or 2,241,455 UAH.
The GAZ-24 time capsule was kept in a warm garage

The car has a rare "anthracite" color. According to the seller, the GAZ-24 was used exclusively in summer, and since it was purchased in 1974, the car has been kept in a warm, dry garage.
"The original mileage is only 18,000 km. A general's Volga in the rare color 'anthracite'," the author of the listing noted.
The seller calls the car a rare version in factory condition and describes its condition as museum-grade. At the same time, in 2024 the GAZ-24 underwent a museum restoration.

During the work, individual parts were replaced. The listing states that new original spare parts with the stamp "Made in the USSR" were used for the restoration.
