According to preliminary information, the newcomer will be named XT3 and will be built on the D2XX platform, which also underpins the recently introduced new-generation GMC Terrain.

There is no official technical data yet, but it is quite likely that the crossover will get a 9-speed automatic transmission and two versions with front- and all-wheel drive.
The premiere of the XT3 model is scheduled for the second half of 2018.
