The new LS has moved to the GA-L platform and received a much more aggressive body design. The sedan has grown in dimensions – 55 mm in length (5235 mm) and 15 mm in width (1900 mm). The wheelbase has increased by 35 mm (3125 mm). At the same time, the model has become 15 mm lower (1450 mm). Despite the increased size, the weight of the car, on the contrary, has decreased by 90 kg.

The interior has become even more luxurious. All seats are equipped with heating, ventilation, and massage, and the rear row can be additionally equipped with a footrest. In addition, the interior boasts a 12-inch multimedia screen and a premium Mark Levinson audio system.

Under the hood of the "fifth" LS, a new 3.5-liter turbo engine appeared, producing 420 hp and 599 Nm of torque. The rear-wheel-drive sedan will need only 4.5 seconds to accelerate to 100 km/h.

American sales of the new Lexus LS will begin in the spring. On other markets, the model will appear a little later.
