In the US, the Tiguan will be sold only in the long-wheelbase version, so the Allspace suffix is intended exclusively for the European market.
The Tiguan Allspace is 215 mm longer than the standard version (4704 mm), and the wheelbase has gained an extra 110 mm (2791 mm), which allowed a third row of seats to be accommodated in the trunk. The seven-seat Tiguan did not receive any special design changes.
The engine lineup for both versions of the crossover will be common: petrol turbo engines ranging from 150 to 220 hp and diesels from 150 to 240 hp.
The price of the Tiguan Allspace on the domestic market starts at 30 thousand euros. The crossover will arrive at dealerships closer to summer.
