The Jaguar I-Pace is built on a completely new platform, but the suspension is borrowed from the F-Pace crossover. The powertrain consists of a 90-kilowatt battery and two 200-horsepower electric motors, located separately on each axle. The maximum torque is 700 Nm.

Acceleration to 100 km/h will take the electric Jaguar just 4 seconds. The range is 500 km. The figures are impressive, but do not exceed the performance of the production electric crossover Tesla Model X.

The concept nature of the I-Pace is emphasized by 23-inch wheels and a slightly futuristic interior. The instrument panel is fully digital, the steering wheel is equipped with touch mini-panels, and the multimedia system has a 12-inch screen.

Despite its concept status, the electric car is almost ready for production, which should begin next year, but the I-Pace will go on sale only in 2018.
