The new 1.6-liter powertrain produces 177 horsepower and 265 Nm of torque. It will be paired with a seven-speed preselective gearbox with two clutches.
The crossover version with a turbo engine and all-wheel drive reaches 100 km/h in 9.1 seconds. In the combined cycle, the car consumes an average of 7.7 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers.
It is expected that the first Hyundai Tucson cars with the turbocharged 1.6 T-GDI engine will appear on our market as early as December.
