According to insider information, Alfa Romeo plans to add a station wagon version to the Giulia model lineup.
The premiere of the Giulia station wagon is scheduled for next year. The new version, apparently, will bear the traditional name Sportwagon for the Italian brand. Images of the future car have not yet been released, but in terms of the elegance of its lines, the five-door model is unlikely to yield to the sedan.
The five-door version should boost demand for the Giulia in Europe, where sedans are not particularly popular.
