The SUV will be built on the modular MQB platform and will be sold in 5- or 7-seat versions. The base engine will be a 1.4 TSI with 150 horsepower. Also available will be 2-liter petrol engines with 180 and 220 horsepower. Diesels – only 2-liter, with 150 and 184 hp.

According to preliminary data, the debut of the production crossover will take place in the fall at the Paris Motor Show, and sales will start in 2017.
