This is logical, because India is the second most populous country in the world after China. Thanks to this, many global automakers invest considerable funds not only in production, but also in the training of highly qualified personnel.

One of the results of having qualified engineers was the first Indian sports car. You can see its exterior in the photos. Already now, the DC Avanti (that's its name) is undergoing test trials. The car is equipped with a 240-horsepower EcoBoost engine from Ford. Its displacement is 2.0 liters. The transmission is a 6-speed manual.

Of course, for a true supercar, 6 seconds to 100 km/h and a top speed of 180 km/h are not the best figures, but on the other hand, this is the first sports car fully developed in India.

Already this winter, the car will go into production. As befits an exclusive vehicle, the production run will be limited. In total, it is planned to produce about a hundred cars per year. The price starts from $48,000.
