BMW claims that the new "M car" will be able to match many sports cars on the track, and even surpass them. To make the car more obedient on the track, Bavarian engineers plan to equip it with the same braking system and steering as the higher-class M3 and M4. From these same coupes, the M2 model will also get an active limited-slip differential Active M Differential.
