As is known, this crossover was supposed to appear on the markets of Russia and Ukraine at the end of last year, but the market launch dates were postponed. Most likely, this is due to some internal problems of the Faw company.
Due to the events in Ukraine, it is difficult to assume whether the car will appear on our market, as the central office of the representative office remained in Crimea. But most likely, it was planned to supply exactly the same variants as for Russia. That is, the Besturn X80 has trim levels with two petrol engines produced in China under a Mazda license. The two-liter engine with 147 hp is the base one, and the 2.3-liter engine with 160 hp is installed in more expensive versions. The less powerful engine can be paired with both manual and automatic transmissions, while the 2.3-liter engine is only with an automatic transmission.
Interestingly, information about the Faw Besturn X80 has already appeared on the official website. True, without specifying trim levels and prices.
There is no information yet about the further fate of the Faw brand in Ukraine.
