Let us remind you that the Bio Auto brand is already familiar to Ukrainian buyers from the eva-2 and eva-5 models — AvtoPortal dedicated a summer test drive to these cars. Already in April, two more new products will hit the market — eva-3 and eva-4.

Throughout the year, the importer tested electric vehicles in a variety of conditions — both on the roads and in different weather. Here is what the tests showed:

1. Electric vehicles operate stably at any temperature and in any weather. If you follow the instructions, you can charge them without worry in any conditions.

2. In summer, even with the air conditioning on, the range and maximum speed reach peak values:

  • In eco mode — 120-130 km
  • In the urban cycle — 80-90 km
  • In traffic jams — 85-100 km
  • With aggressive driving style — 65-70 km

3. In spring and autumn, when the temperature stays in the range from 0 to 8-10°C, the characteristics of BIO AUTO drop by only 5-10%.

4. In winter, with frosts from -15 to -20°C, the range looks like this:

  • In eco mode with the heater on — 80-90 km
  • In the urban cycle with the heater — 70-80 km
  • In traffic jams with the heater — 65-70 km
  • With aggressive driving with the heater — 50 km

Arseniy Abduraimov, representative of BIO AUTO in Ukraine, summed up a year of operation: if you correctly understand the capabilities of an electric vehicle, it will become a reliable and profitable assistant, especially in the cold season.

At the company "Trinik+", which is responsible for warranty and post-warranty maintenance of BIO AUTO, they clarified: routine maintenance is carried out with the same frequency as for conventional cars, but costs significantly less — up to 150-200 UAH. A full engine overhaul will also not hit the budget — no more than 300 UAH.

It is worth noting that over the entire past year, the brand managed to sell only two cars. However, now 20 cars are already waiting for buyers in the showrooms, and another 18 will arrive by the end of the month. By the end of the year, the company expects to sell at least 100 electric vehicles.

In addition, plans include equipping a number of Kyiv parking lots with charging stations for electric vehicles.
