The new law introduces a ban on the movement of any mechanical vehicles within the territories of the nature reserve fund (NRF). Violations of this norm are subject to fines:

  • For citizens: 153–408 hryvnias.
  • For officials: 255–510 hryvnias.

In addition, violators must compensate for the damage caused to natural areas. The amount of compensation for every 100 meters of illegal passage (taking into account indexation in 2025) is:

  • Moped, motorcycle, motor scooter: 4020.80 hryvnias.
  • Passenger car, minibus, pickup truck: 6428.80 hryvnias.
  • Bus, truck: 8848.00 hryvnias.

These steps are aimed at protecting ecosystems and reducing the harmful impact of transport on natural areas.

At the same time, Ukraine is discussing the possibility of additional fines for vehicle owners that generate excessive noise. Draft law No. 9564 proposes penalties for violating permissible noise levels, which can reach 34 thousand hryvnias. This initiative is aimed at reducing noise pollution in cities and improving people's living conditions.

Also being prepared is a new procedure for paying fines for administrative traffic violations. Drivers are planned to be given the opportunity to pay the fine on the spot using a smartphone via a QR code. This would replace outdated terminals and make the payment process simpler. This information was announced by the First Deputy Head of the Patrol Police Department, Oleksii Biloshytskyi.

Since February 18, 2025, an updated electronic appointment system (E-queue) has been launched in 53 service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, which allows you to make appointments for services in advance. Registration slots are formed automatically three weeks ahead, which simplifies the process and prevents the mass purchase of tickets by bot programs that previously monopolized popular services.

These steps are designed to strengthen road safety, promote environmental protection, and make citizens' lives more comfortable.
