At a government meeting, the Prime Minister instructed the Ministry of Economy and the Fiscal Service to prepare a draft law providing for the abolition of customs duty on the import of used cars.

“I want to announce two instructions. The first is an appeal to the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Economy and the SFS to prepare and submit to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine a draft law on the abolition of import duty on used vehicles. This will apply to all vehicles except those manufactured in the Russian Federation,” Yatsenyuk noted.

The Cabinet also intends to introduce a ban on the purchase of petroleum products from Russia. The head of government instructed the relevant ministries to prepare the necessary documents so that both issues could be brought to an extraordinary meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on Friday.
