The draft resolution titled "Draft Resolution on the necessity of taking measures to stabilize the national currency exchange rate," authored by Mykola Rudkovsky, provides for restrictions (or simply a ban) on car imports for a period of three months.
Oleh Nazarenko, CEO of VAAID, reported on this initiative of the deputies. "In particular, the draft law proposes to restrict the import of luxury goods for up to three months: furniture, cars, jewelry, and other goods classified as elite consumption. The only problem is that car importers, even without Mr. Rudkovsky, have practically suspended car imports (thousands of cars previously intended for Ukraine are sitting in various warehouses; more than 2000 units only in Port of Time, etc.)," - Oleh Nazarenko.

At the moment, the document has not yet been published on the Parliament's website.
Earlier, AvtoPortal wrote that customs duties on cars should be reduced today.
