In the capital of Ukraine, the implementation of the state program aimed at training personnel for the country's integration into the European community for the period from 2008 to 2011 continues. Within the framework of this initiative, State Automobile Inspection inspectors are actively learning English.

Classes are conducted by the teaching staff of the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management. Educational materials and methodology have been developed by specialists from the Scientific Center for Road Safety under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

First of all, employees of the road patrol service, who in the course of their work will have to interact with foreign citizens arriving for the 2012 European Football Championship, began their training.

Not only inspectors from cities where Euro-2012 matches will be held will have to master a foreign language, but also their colleagues from other regions of the country, since tournament guests will travel throughout the entire territory of the state.

"Mastering a foreign language is useful at any age, especially since it contributes to the development of intelligence," emphasized the head of the capital's State Automobile Inspection department, Anatoly Kurinnoy.
