Let's start with the fact that the hot version of the Giulia Quadrifoglio Verde (QV) sedan has set a new benchmark at the Nürburgring. The 510-horsepower newcomer completed a lap in 7 minutes 39 seconds, leaving behind such heavyweights as the Porsche 911 GT3, Lamborghini Murcielago, and others.
As for the more "civilian" version, the Italians are keeping quiet for now. Apparently, they are waiting for the excitement around the sports achievements to subside. Either way, it is the Giulia that should pull Alfa Romeo out of the crisis.
