A significant portion of the vehicles put up for auction were in the status of collateral property or were leased. However, the list also included almost new cars that had just left dealer showrooms.
The most budget-friendly lot was a Volga 3110 from 2001, which was sold for 1,600 dollars, although bidding started at 900 dollars.
Some models sparked a real fight among buyers, causing the final price to significantly exceed the starting price. This is clearly visible in the video, where there was a real battle for a Daewoo Sens, initially valued at 2,500 dollars:
However, cars whose price reached 30 thousand dollars did not cause much excitement. Thus, an Infiniti G35, starting at 38,000 dollars, never found a buyer and was removed from the auction.
Approximately half of the 50 offered cars found new owners. The event took place in one of the halls of the Expocenter at VDNKh, with all lots displayed right at the entrance to the pavilion.
In the future, auctions are planned to be held online — through the internet platform of the company «Automobile Auctions».
