It is noted that at the same time this very instance became a jubilee one for the model itself – so far Skoda has produced 250,000 Kamiq crossovers.
The SUV segment is one of the most profitable for the Czechs: in total, crossovers Skoda Kodiaq, Karoq and Kamiq account for about 40% of all cars produced by this brand worldwide. At the same time, models such as Kodiaq and Karoq are produced, among other places, at the Ukrainian Eurocar plant (Solomonovo, Zakarpattia region). Thus, the domestic enterprise has also contributed to achieving a record number of produced Skoda crossovers.
By the way, recently the Skoda crossover lineup was replenished with another car – the Enyaq iV electric car. Its production started in the same Mlada Boleslav at the end of last year. As for the Ukrainian enterprise, in addition to Kodiaq and Karoq, it also produces Fabia and Superb.
