Many Corvette fans, and indeed ordinary buyers in general, are trying to get their hands on the desired specimen through "special channels," and it seems that Stallone was no exception. The actor lives in Florida, where there was not a single new Corvette available. In the end, the sports car was delivered to him from a dealership in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Moreover, the delivery process was personally overseen by the dealership owner, Bo Trivett (the car was brought right to the gates of Stallone's house).
The local Chevrolet dealer did not hide their delight that their client had become "Rambo." "We are very proud to say: Sylvester Stallone is our client. We sold him a new C8 Corvette!... Thank you for the purchase!", the dealer wrote on social media.
Stallone's choice fell on a blue car with five-spoke wheels in a special Spectra Grey shade.
The cost of the Chevrolet Corvette C8 in the US starts at $59,995 for the coupe and $67,495 for the roadster, and with additional options the price of the car can reach $100,000. How much the sports car cost the Hollywood star is unknown.
