Three representatives of the Volkswagen brand made it into the list of the six safest cars of the year: the new Polo hatchback (Supermini category), the compact crossover T-Roc (Small Off-Road class), and the flagship liftback Arteon (Executive segment).
In the Big Off-Road category, the Volvo XC60 crossover won. Among compact vans (Small MPV), the Opel Crossland X was recognized as the best. And in the Small Family Car category, two Subaru models — Impreza and XV — shared the laurels.
