The updated Edge flaunts new optics and a radiator grille, as well as modified bumpers. The ST version can be recognized by its square exhaust tips, 21-inch alloy wheels with a special design, and red brake calipers.
The interior boasts a new "washer" for the automatic transmission selector and a new design for the center console, as well as sport seats available for the "hot" modification.
Under the hood of the Edge ST is a 340-horsepower 2.7 EcoBoost turbo engine, which works in tandem with a new 8-speed automatic transmission.
The base two-liter EcoBoost now produces 253 hp, and the six-cylinder 3.5-liter engine has apparently been removed from the lineup.
Sales of the modernized Ford Edge in the American market are scheduled to start in the summer. Prices have not yet been disclosed.
