Dodge company head Timothy Kuniskis stated that the Viper sports car will be temporarily returned to the assembly line to produce a final batch of cars for fans of the legendary model.
Exactly how many Vipers are planned to be produced and how long the production will last has not been announced yet. However, already next year the model will finally end its career.
The main reason for discontinuing the sports car is the impossibility of installing side curtain airbags on the Viper, which are now included in the list of mandatory equipment for all cars sold on the US market.
