The "digital light" technology is based on a million microscopic mirrors built into the headlights, which turn the light beam into many individual pixels, from which the necessary image is then created.
Innovative optics allow duplicating a road sign or, for example, indicating the distance to the nearest turn. In addition, the headlights can instantly adapt to any road conditions, "carefully" illuminate pedestrians, signal danger, etc.
The company promises that Digital Light optics will soon debut on production Mercedes-Benz models, but even approximate dates for the appearance of "artistic" headlights in the options list have not yet been announced.
