In 2011, the brand's emblem will turn one hundred years old, and on this occasion the manufacturer is going to hold a series of festive events in the UK. Thus, on February 6, when the figurine was officially registered, a car parade is planned in London, which will involve both classic Rolls-Royce models and cars coming off the assembly line today. For the first time, the "Spirit of Ecstasy" adorned a Rolls-Royce car created for Baron Montagu-Belew. The sculpture depicting the ancient Greek goddess of victory Nike was designed and made by the English master Charles Sykes.

Initially, the emblem was called "The Personification of Speed". Only in 1923, when the figurine became the official symbol of Rolls-Royce, it was given the name familiar today — "Spirit of Ecstasy".
