Sometimes such cars are even indistinguishable from the outside – some owners discover the malfunction only after purchase or, even worse, continue driving the car without knowing about the problem. A video appeared on YouTube that clearly demonstrates how repair masters manage to hide even such a complex moment as a "plug" in place of a deployed airbag. This example was shown by mechanics from Saudi Arabia.

As seen in the video, first a mesh is applied to the deformed part of the dashboard, then the empty space (where the airbag used to be hidden) is filled with polyurethane foam, which is usually used in construction. Then the surface is cleaned, sanded, and finally painted. After that, the panel looks like new.
Of course, such a repair can be called quality only with a stretch – primarily because it is life-threatening (in case of a repeated accident for the car). And in some countries, such "makeshift work" is even punishable by law.
