On the Northern Bridge, there was a break of trolleybus wires, which then hung over the roadway. The driver of a Toyota Camry, for unknown reasons, did not pay attention to them, which led to serious consequences for the car — the vehicle caught on the wire and overturned.
After the accident, the Toyota Camry driver tried to leave the scene, but was detained by the police who arrived on the call. The man showed signs of intoxication, but refused to take a breathalyzer test, claiming that his wife was behind the wheel.
Additionally, the driver did not have a driver's license. In this regard, protocols were drawn up against him under Part 1 of Article 130 (driving a vehicle while intoxicated), Article 124 (violation of traffic rules resulting in an accident), and Part 1 of Article 126 (driving a vehicle without the necessary documents).
