As before, the iSeeCars study is based on data collected by specialists while examining used car listings. After that, they selected those car models with the highest number of units (among those for sale) with a mileage of 300,000+ miles.
At the same time, the fact that the record-breaking cars had to reach their hundreds of thousands of kilometers without major repairs was taken into account.

As a result, the following results were obtained:
- Chevrolet Suburban
- Ford Expedition
- Lexus LS
- Toyota Sequoia
- Subaru Outback
- Toyota Corolla
- Ford F-150
- Honda Civic
- Mazda MX-5
- Toyota Land Cruiser
As you can see, the rating mostly includes Japanese-made cars (7 out of 10 positions), which is not surprising – they have always been famous for their reliability. In addition, several winning places went to Americans (3 out of 10 positions). Another detail – the TOP has many full-size SUVs (compared to cars from other segments).

As for the main winner, Toyota Land Cruiser, iSeeCars emphasized that among all "Kruzaks" on the American market, a mileage of 300,000+ miles was had by as many as 1.5% of cars (for comparison, for Chevrolet Suburban this figure is "only" 0.2%). In addition, experts also focused on another "Toyota" model, Sequoia: 9.2% of such SUVs sold in 2019 had a mileage of 200,000+ miles – an unheard-of figure! But with a mileage of 300,000+ miles – "only" 0.4% (but this is also a very good indicator).

By the way, earlier the American agency J.D. Power named the most reliable cars of our time. And the British from WhatCar? compiled a list of the best cars over the past 20 years.
