The incident occurred last weekend in the city of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA. It was captured by cameras of the local Department of Transportation. As can be seen in the footage, the pickup truck driver lost control at one point (due to the slippery icy road), after which he collided with a road barrier. However, the concrete structure could not stop the vehicle: upon impact with the barrier, it flew up and fell down from a great height.
Judging by other footage that was spread online by American media, a Ford pickup from the 2000s was damaged in the accident. It can be said that this fact saved the person's life: if it had been an older model, the driver would hardly have survived such a crash (thanks to the constant improvement of vehicle safety systems). In addition, he was surely wearing a seatbelt – this also played a positive role.
