In Ukraine, gas cylinder equipment for the Duster is available on the version with a 1.6-liter gasoline engine producing 115 horsepower. The buyer is offered two gearbox options — a five-speed manual and a six-speed manual transmission. In the first case, the car has front-wheel drive, in the second — all-wheel drive.
Gas installation is offered as an additional option and is priced at 28.7 thousand hryvnias, which is approximately equivalent to one thousand dollars. Consequently, the most affordable version of Renault Duster with LPG starts from 446,000 hryvnias, which corresponds to 16 thousand dollars (this refers to the Life trim with gas equipment).
This price includes the BRC brand equipment itself, a protective cover for the spare wheel, in place of which the cylinder is placed, as well as five liters of propane-butane. Additionally, paperwork for registering the car with the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is provided.
It is important to emphasize that the gas equipment on the Renault is installed not by the manufacturer itself, but by the dealership. At the same time, the equipment and the installation procedure undergo full certification, so the factory warranty on the car is preserved.
