Gecko, a company born in South Korea, has fully dedicated itself to creating electric vehicles. Its production facilities are located in the brand's homeland, and the design basis is a skateboard-type chassis, which allows mounting a wide variety of bodies on the same unified electric platform.

The EV48 model is a medium-sized van capable of traveling up to 330 kilometers without recharging, according to NEDC cycle measurements. Another development, the MagicWay platform, stands out for its greater versatility: it can be adapted to different body types, including cargo or passenger modifications.

In global markets, prices for these vehicles preliminarily range between 35-40 thousand US dollars, but the cost for Ukrainian buyers has not yet been disclosed.

Gecko's entry into the market could be further evidence of the gradual transition of commercial transport to electricity, especially since the demand for small and environmentally friendly vehicles for short-distance delivery is constantly growing.
