The "iron horse" for this trip was the Ford Mustang Mach-E First Edition crossover – this car went on sale at the end of last year. It was on this vehicle that the traveler drove across the entire North American continent – from the Pacific coast in California to the shores of the Atlantic Ocean in the state of Georgia. Given that the claimed range of his "electric car" on a single charge is 435 km, and the route length is exactly 3907 km, Rodriguez predictably had to stop for charging quite often: in total, it took him 586 minutes (almost 10 hours).

As for financial expenses, in total, the Ford owner spent $159.85 on using charging stations. For comparison, the same trip on a Ford Escape with a three-cylinder 1.5-liter gasoline engine would have cost about $200 (167 euros), so the savings amounted to only about $40.
Nevertheless, as you know, time is money, so the big question is whether this saving justifies the 10 hours lost on battery charging. However, Sergio is a big fan of electric cars, so he was satisfied with his tour in any case.
