Today Senard stands at the head of the tire company Michelin. One of the main tasks of the new head of Renault will be to establish relations with the partner — Nissan. Thierry Bollore, who previously worked as deputy president, has been appointed CEO of Renault.
Personnel changes in the top management were approved by Nissan. Representatives of the Japanese automaker said they "welcome the change of leadership at Renault."
The former head of Renault, Carlos Ghosn, in turn, left the company and is currently under arrest in Japan, where he is accused of tax evasion.
