Judging by the photos from Carscoops, the future electric car will resemble the Vision Dynamics concept shown in Frankfurt in the fall of 2017. Features of the 4-Series Gran Coupe are also noticeable. The new model will have a long wheelbase, a sloping roofline, and very short front and rear overhangs.
The electric car will be built on the CLAR platform. Drivers will be offered front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive systems. The model is expected to have a range of about 700 km. Acceleration to 100 km/h will take just four seconds, and the top speed will be 200 km/h.
According to preliminary information, the BMW i4 will premiere in 2021. The main competitor of the Bavarian electric car is called the Tesla Model 3.
