Question from Alexander:
We are talking about an intersection in Kyiv where Borshchahivska, Yangel and Vyborzka streets meet.

Which driver has priority: the one turning from Borshchahivska onto Vyborzka, or the one exiting from Yangel onto Borshchahivska or Vyborzka? On Yangel there is a "Main Road" sign, but those driving along Borshchahivska may not know about it.

Cars cross each other's paths earlier than they reach the "No Stopping Without Stop" sign placed before the exit onto Borshchahivska.

Comment from Karat driving school experts:
This intersection consists of two parts: at the intersection of Yangel and Vyborzka there is a "Main Road" sign, and its zone extends to the next intersection - Yangel and Borshchahivska, where there is already a "No Stopping Without Stop" sign.

Let's analyze the first part - the intersection of Yangel and Vyborzka. Here, driving along Yangel straight or turning right, we have priority over those approaching from Vyborzka, where a "Give Way" sign should be installed.

In addition, we have an advantage over the oncoming traffic that makes a left turn. By oncoming traffic we mean cars coming from Borshchahivska onto Vyborzka: they first exit onto Yangel and only then turn left. Thus, when turning from Yangel onto Vyborzka, they must give way to those going straight (from Yangel onto Borshchahivska) or turning right (from Yangel onto Vyborzka).

Result:
The priority belongs to the car that is driving along Yangel Street towards Borshchahivska or Vyborzka.
