In August, Toyota cars were the most popular choice — they were registered 1,118 times. This is 49% more than in the same month last year.
Volkswagen took second place: its figures jumped almost fourfold to 611 units. Third was Renault with 501 cars (an increase of 143%). Fourth place went to BMW — 433 cars (+120%).
Skoda sales grew by 145% year-on-year to 394 cars, allowing the brand to finish fifth. The remaining places in the top ten leaders of August 2023 were taken by:
·HYUNDAI — 289 units;
·SUZUKI — 208 units;
·AUDI — 188 units;
·MERCEDES-BENZ — 186 units;
·NISSAN — 177 units.
The most sought-after model among new passenger cars in August was the Renault Duster — it was registered 473 times. In total, over January–August 2023, 38.2 thousand new cars were purchased and registered in Ukraine, which is 56% more than in the same period last year.
