People's Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak published the relevant statistics on his Telegram channel.
According to him, during two incomplete months, Ukrainian drivers used the free customs clearance procedure for vehicles 123,600 times. As the politician noted, the intensity of car imports is currently not decreasing — on weekdays, border guards process approximately 4,000–5,000 "euro plates" daily.
In addition, Zheleznyak reported that the total volume of tax and customs benefits amounted to UAH 13.6 billion — this is exactly how much citizens managed to save thanks to the zero customs clearance rate.
