Of this number, 721 are passenger electric cars and 50 are commercial ones. According to the Ukrautoprom association, in August the share of new electric vehicles also increased significantly – it reached 19% (144 units).
The most popular electric car in Ukraine is still the Nissan Leaf (207 units). Also in demand are the Tesla Model 3 (71 units) and the Renault Kangoo Z.E. (41).

In total, over eight months of this year, Ukrainians bought almost 5.2 thousand electric cars. This is 4% more than a year earlier.
There are already 30,062 electric cars on Ukrainian roads, of which 14,300 are Nissan Leaf. The most electric vehicles are registered in Kyiv (6,517), as well as Odesa (4,372), Kyiv (3,550) and Kharkiv (2,917) regions.
