Yes, in Ukraine the base version EQS 450 starts from 89,350 euros, and the older EQS 580 4MATIC – from 113,565 euros. At the same time, in Germany prices for the luxury electric car start from 106,374 euros and 135,529 euros respectively. The difference, as you can see, is significant.

Mercedes-Benz EQS specifications
Mercedes-Benz EQS 450 is a rear-wheel drive, single-motor version. Its power is 333 hp. EQS 580 4MATIC is equipped with two motors, respectively, has all-wheel drive. Output – 523 hp. Both modifications have a battery capacity of 107.8 kWh, the declared range for EQS 450 is 770 km according to the WLTP cycle. For EQS 580 4MATIC, the manufacturer estimates the range without recharging at 671 km – less, since its power plant is more "gluttonous". And if you also take into account additional options, the figure will expectedly decrease even more – to 607 km.

As in other countries, the first to enter the Ukrainian market will be Mercedes-Benz EQS in the welcome Edition 1 trim. The main features of such cars are the AMG Line package, other wheels (AMG ones), various decorative inserts, richer finishing (for example, walnut wood details). The huge MBUX Hyperscreen for EQS 450 is available for an additional charge, while for EQS 580 4MATIC it is included in the base.

Among other interesting points – all-wheel steering (rear wheels turn by 4.5 degrees, but in the future it will be programmatically increased to 10 degrees – however, for an additional fee), cabin air purification filter Energizing Air Control Plus, a separate display for the front passenger (total on the front panel – three screens at once (but not on all versions), Burmester surround sound system with 710 W power, adaptive cruise control that works together with lane keeping assist and blind spot monitoring of mirrors, parking assistant with surround view, etc.
When will it be possible to buy Mercedes-Benz EQS
Large-scale production of Mercedes-Benz EQS should begin in September, and if the deadlines are not violated, the first cars will arrive at Ukrainian dealers in November-December.
By the way, as Autoportal previously wrote, a similar situation with prices occurred with the flagship electric crossover BMW iX – in Ukraine it was estimated cheaper than in Germany.
