According to the published price list of Hyundai Motor Ukraine, the minimum price of Ioniq 5 is 1,348,600 UAH (49,609 USD). For this money, a crossover is offered in the Elegance trim with a single electric motor producing 218 hp and 350 Nm, as well as a 58-kWh battery. The equipment includes a wide range of electronic assistants (highway driving assistant, adaptive cruise control) and comfort functions (heated seats and steering wheel, digital instrument cluster, multimedia with a 12.3-inch screen, rear-view camera, etc.). On board there is also support for fast (400V) and ultra-fast (800V) charging, a power supply system for household appliances (220V), and smart battery cooling and heating, which allow the electric car not to overheat and lose range in severe weather conditions.
There is also a Top trim, its price is 1,483,400 UAH (54,568 USD). Here, in addition to the above list, there are, among other things, a surround-view system, remote parking, ventilated seats, premium Bose audio, leather interior trim, and automatic retractable door handles.
An additional motor with 95 hp, which turns the Ioniq 5 into an all-wheel-drive vehicle, is available for an extra 93,100 UAH (3,424 USD). The same applies to the upgraded battery with a capacity of 73 kWh – it can be ordered for 98,700 UAH (3,630 USD). With the smaller battery, the electric car comes on 19-inch wheels, with the larger one – on 20-inch wheels.
Also optionally for Ioniq 5 various upgrade packages are available, which include, for example, a head-up display and a solar panel on the roof.
It should be noted that in the top, dual-motor configuration (302 hp), the Ioniq 5 accelerates to 100 km/h in 5.2 seconds, and with the larger battery (namely, 73 kWh) it travels 480 km on a single charge according to the WLTP cycle.
Recall that Ioniq 5 was originally created as an electric car – it is built on a special E-GMP platform, which does not allow for the installation of an internal combustion engine at all. Another strong point of the new model is its unique charismatic design, which does not overlap with any other car of the Korean brand. The dimensions of the Ioniq 5 are 4.63 x 1.6 x 1.89 m.
