As before, used cars in Ukraine occupy almost 80% of the car market, meaning they are imported four times more than new ones. The leader remains unchanged – Volkswagen cars are in the highest demand. In May, 5.6 thousand of them were registered.
In second place is Ford (3.2 thousand cars), and in third – Renault (3 thousand). The top five is rounded out by Skoda (2.6 thousand) and Hyundai (1.9 thousand). The most popular used car in Ukraine for May is the Renault Megane (2205 units).
In total, since the beginning of the year, 159.6 thousand used cars have been registered for the first time in Ukraine. The growth compared to the same period last year was as much as 45%. For comparison: new cars were bought 39.6 thousand during the same time.
