Among all the electric cars presented on our roads, the leading position is occupied by the Nissan Leaf – just over 13 thousand cars. That is, exactly half of the total number of electric cars falls on the Japanese bestseller.
Next with a big gap is the Tesla Model S – about 1,800 units. Also in the top five are the Tesla Model 3, Chevrolet Bolt, and BMW i3. And closing the TOP-10 are the FIAT 500e, Volkswagen e-Golf, Renault Zoe, Tesla Model X, and Kia Soul. These models number on average 1000-500 units in Ukraine.
In total, over 200 different makes and models of electric vehicles drive on our roads. If you believe the statistics, there are even such exclusives as the Samsung SM3 Tazzari Zero and others.
As for the leading regions by the number of electric vehicles (TOP-5), the statistics look as follows:
- Kyiv — 5664
- Odesa Oblast — 3902
- Kyiv Oblast — 3192
- Kharkiv Oblast — 2528
- Dnipropetrovsk Oblast — 2118
By the way, recently the first electric car Volkswagen ID.3 appeared in Ukraine. As AvtoPortal learned, it was exclusively brought in for a client's order, but officially such a car is not yet sold.
