In the last month of the year, sales of electric cars even grew by 7% compared to December 2019 — 598 such vehicles were registered.
Still, more than 90% of electric vehicles on the Ukrainian market are used cars. The average age of such cars reaches 7 years. In addition, during the specified period, 7,095 passenger electric cars, 359 commercial models, and one electric bus were purchased.
Also, the list of the most popular electric vehicles in the country was published. The first place, both before and now, is held by the Nissan Leaf — 2,180 such cars were sold.
The top five most popular electric cars in Ukraine looks like this:
1. Nissan Leaf — 2,180 cars
2. Tesla Model 3 — 865
3. Tesla Model S — 753
4. Chevrolet Bolt — 474
5. Tesla Model X — 366
Among commercial vehicles, the undisputed favorite was the Renault Kango Z.E. — it was chosen by 304 buyers. The best-selling new electric car was the Audi e-tron crossover, which was purchased by 122 people.
